Prambanan Temple from the City of Yogyakarta is only about 17 km, located in the northeast of City of Yogyakarta, precisely at the main road from Yogyakarta to Solo City.
Prambanan Temple is a Hindu religious heritage that was built on the 9 th century by the two princes, the name of the king is Rakai Pikatan and Balitung. This temple is 47 meters high, over 5 meters high from the Borobudur Temple.
Prambanan Temple is very interesting, the surrounding beautiful scenery. At night, the Prambanan have showtimes ballet, its name is the Ramayana Ballet. Ramayana Ballet is a dance that is very romantic, many tourists who come to see these dances.

Here, there are 3 main temples namely Wisnu Temple (north of Siwa Temple), Siwa Temple (in the middle as the main temple) and the Brahma Temple (south of Siwa Temple). The three main temple is facing east. Main Temple (Wisnu, Siwa, Brahma) have assistant, its name is the Pendamping Temple, this temple is located in front of Candi Wisnu, Brahma and Siwa.
In every Pendamping Temple, there is a statue of a vehicle Wisnu, Siwa and Brahma.
The names of the vehicles are:
Garuda sculpture as a vehicle of god Wisnu
Lembu sculpture named Nandi, as a vehicle of god Siwa
Angsa sculpture as a vehicle of god Brahma
There are still 2 Apit Temple, there are 4 Kelir Temple, there are 4 Sudut Temple.
Siwa temple building is the highest and have 4 rooms which consist of one main room contains a statue of Siwa and 3 other rooms that each contains a Durga statue (the wife of Siwa), Agastya (teacher of Siwa) and Ganesha (the son of Siwa). In the legend of the people, a Durga statue is called as a Roro Jonggrang statue.
